For its 2027 edition, Sclerotherapy & Venous Ablation moves from Bologna to Rome, the Eternal City. This decision reflects our commitment to expanding international scientific exchange and creating new opportunities for interaction and collaboration building on the experience and achievements of previous editions.
The upcoming congress will be even more ambitious, more international, and more open to discussion, bringing together colleagues and experts from around the world. It will be an opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and new perspectives in the field of phlebology, while also strengthening the personal and professional relationships that have always been among the most valuable aspects of our meetings.
The choice of congress venue reflects this same philosophy. We have selected a hotel capable of accommodating most of the participants because we firmly believe that a great congress is not built solely within conference halls, but also through the conversations, encounters, and friendships that develop beyond the scientific sessions.
The format that has made previous editions so successful will remain at the heart of our congress: high-level scientific content, ample opportunities for discussion, and open, direct interaction between speakers and participants. This will be complemented by hands-on workshops and masterclasses focusing on the techniques, innovations, and most relevant challenges facing our profession today, with the aim of providing a practical educational experience that can be immediately applied to everyday clinical practice.
As in previous editions, Sclerotherapy & Venous Ablation will also host the National Congress of the Italian Phlebological Association (AFI), during which elections for the new President and Board of Directors will take place. This will represent an important moment of participation and renewal for our scientific community.
Rome will be much more than a congress venue. It will be a place to meet, exchange ideas, learn from one another, and rediscover the pleasure of sharing a common professional passion.
We look forward to welcoming everyone who approaches phlebology with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a desire for continuous improvement. Together, we will enjoy days in which science meets friendship, knowledge meets discovery, and scientific excellence goes hand in hand with the pleasure of being together.
For a few days, in the Eternal City, phlebology will find a home.
We look forward to welcoming you to Rome!
